A Holiday Party for Nate and a Farewell to Ziggy

Three days a week Nate goes to Grace's house for day care. Grace takes really good care of Nate and a couple of other kids too. Last Friday, Grace threw a holiday party for the kids at Party n Play and parents were welcomed.

Last year at the holiday party, Nate was just about crawling. This year he was climbing, jumping and sliding. He got to eat dinner with his friends and sit on Santa's lap. Crazy what happened to a kid in a year!

Also, on a side note, Joan, Scott's mother, found someone who was interested in taking Ziggy our turtle. We have been trying to find a new home for her just because we couldn't provide the best one for her anymore. She got so big that she needed more space and a heat lap that could be on her all the time.

The new home for her is in PA where the owner's basement is dedicated to reptiles and also has a 200 gallon tank. That is like heaven for Ziggy! Before we were ready to pack her and all of her things up, we said our goodbye and took some pics. She will be missed but we know she is better off in her new home!
