Last weekend the weather finally broke, bringing the feeling of Fall. We decided to go apple picking and grab a pumpkin or 4. We all had a great time.
There are things you wish for as a parent. Our boys are into hugging each other. They do it without propmting. It is truly a great site to see them together!
After pumpkin picking, all Nate wanted to do was cut the pumpkin open to eat the seeds. So Scott started a fire in the fire pit and they opened up the pumpkin. We were trying to get Nate to touch and feel the inside of a pumpkin, but he was a little unsure if he wanted to.
We are not a fan of the popcorn magically popping in the microwave, it is better when it is a teaching experience (and healthier). Therefore after dinner last night, we got the popcorn maker out and it was awesome as Nate was asking questions the whole time!
