What happens when one parent is out of commission? All H E double hockey sticks breaks loose. For those of you who did not hear the screams, Sarah's back is out, like in a different country. Last Thursday morning, Sarah was on the floor asking Monica to "get daddy". When Scott arrived, Sarah was in fetal position on the bathroom floor. We quickly got her dressed and got an appointment at a chiropractor's office. When I say quickly, I mean 45 minutes because Sarah couldn't move. Sarah was greeted at the door and they quickly got to work on her back. After some x-rays and more screams, we found out that Sarah has minor Scoliosis, Arthritis, and at some point around 10 years ago (college and drinking ring a bell?) had a trauma to her back. So Sarah has been walking like a side show at the Jersey State Fair.
Sunday March 9th, was Sarah's 31st birthday. We had great aspirations of hosting an event for the Brokaws, Sandlers, a DeVirgilio and a Hersh. But because Sarah the cook is sideways, we had to cancel. What a way to spend 31 years... in an 81 year old body.
However, don't let Scott fool you, he has everything under control!
