Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening,
We had a great week and weekend. It is sometimes hard to figure out where to start. So I will start with the big news. During the week, yes we did it, we listed our house. Nate, Monica, Sarah and myself, Ziggy and the fish made a family decision to seek a new, larger home. Needless to say, we have been busy cleaning to get the house staged for pictures (Thanks Fern for helping out). Members from the Ellen Rosenbaum Real Estate Agency came on Saturday, and it is now official. So here we are in the middle of the great real estate market of 2007. This is a really crazy and exciting time for us and would welcome anyone's support or advise on buying houses/selling houses/depression medication, or all of the above.
On Saturday, we had a 1 year birthday party to attend for Derick. Derick's mom, Karen, attended Grad School with Sarah. We had a great time at the party and wish Derick a very happy 1st birthday. You will see in the big group kid shot that Nate was not in the pic because he cried when we sat him down with the other children. Bummer. Thanks to the Cristi clan for having us attend.
Then came Sunday. We heard from Ryann and Tracey there was a farm nearby in Hazlet that allows parents and children to get close with farm animals. This was an amazing treat. We arrived at the Green Meadows Farm and were greeted by the nicest staff. Off we went on a two hour tour... a two hour tour. With Gilligan (Nate), the Skipper too, The Millionaire and his Wife (Scott and Sarah), ...Sorry...I got carried away. Anyway, we started off with the little chicks and ducks. We even got to hold little ducklings. Then to the little bunnies. Nate was so cute with the animals we just couldn't stand it. We then moved on to llamas, pigs, goats, sheep and ponies. Below are the pics from this wonderful day.
As a side note, I have not done these blogs in a while, and although I live the events we talk about, it is so awesome to actually be able to share them with everyone. Hope everyone is doing well!
