Before I update everyone on the latest weekend, I wanted to do a quick addition to the July 4th post. If you have ever wondered what it is like to see fireworks for the first time, simply look at this picture and you will get the idea of what it looks like to a 2 yr old.

We made our second trip to the beach this past weekend, and it was a gorgeous day! We headed out in the early AM 9:00 (Late for the Sandler clan) and met up with the Matisoffs for some heavy duty beach time.
The waves were incredible and the water, once you got past the huge crashing waves, the water was nice. I even got to ride a few with a boogie board!
Towards the end of our stay, the waves were crashing and was washing up close to where we were sitting. There were so many people who lost cell phones due to the rough waves.
As we got into the car, Caden fell asleep before we even pulled out of the parking spot.
On Sunday we headed to the pool for a while. Nate has taken to swimming and loves to swim under water. Thanks Camp Briar Hill!! Nate loved to jump in and swim underwater to get rings that he threw into the pool. Caden even jumps into the pool, and loves swimming even if he still sinks like a concrete block.
After some swimming came snack time!!!!!
Aftrer the pool we stopped at the Brokaws for a little treat. Roasted Marshmellows!!!!
