Traditions

New Years Eve seems to be the one holiday that we can start to make our own. For the past couple years, Scott has started this tradition of making ice cream sundaes on New Years Eve and it finally paid off. It was all Nate could talk about all day (after his fun playdate with some of his classmates).

We started the night off by going out to dinner with Debbie and her boyfriend Jon and then headed back home to enjoy the sweetness of ice cream. Caden even got to have a little taste. After the sugar hit all of us, we got into our pjs (new ones for the kiddies given by Grammy) and we created our own dance party/New Years Eve celebration. Loud music, confetti, beads and decorations made it feel like we were in the middle of Times Square but in the comfort of our warm, cozy and loving home.

Nate managed to stay up till about 10:30...and with the technology that we have now a days, we got to DVR the ball dropping for him to watch it in the morning. When Nate woke up, he remembered that we were going to record it and handed out our beads and crowns to everyone. We got ready, watched it, screamed and gave out kisses to everyone. it couldn't have been cuter!

We then got dressed and headed to the park to enjoy some fresh air since it was going to be the warmest day of the weekend. What a wonderful way to start the New Year..2010...the Sandlers are ready!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
