As I sat watching tv, Sarah and I began talking about our family gatherings. Thanksgiving, all the jewish holidays and even though we grew up in different states, we have very similar memories. Yes they have been nice, but the main issue we remember is not having many kids to play with. Now that Sarah and I have kids, we see how important having family around is. Maybe when we are all young we take things for granted or the old saying "you don't know what you got till it's gone" truely lives up to its meaning.
Family - that's what we are thankful for. Some people can have all the money or power in the world, but the Sandlers' power are those who we surround ourselves with. So thank you NJ, AZ, CA Brokaws, Philly Sandlers and Happy Thanksgiving!!
