On Saturday, June 14th, Nate had a slight fever in the morning. We ended up going to the Sandler's shore house with the hopes that it would go away. He seemed to be ok throughtout the day. On Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day with the Sandlers with a brunch and we left when Nate was ready for a nap. When we got to my parents' house for the BBQ, he started to warm up again. He didn't eat dinner and he just stayed on the couch with a blanket next to my mom. We left to go home and give him some Tylenol. We took his temp and he was over 104! We freaked! Nate has never had a fever that high. Luckily our doctor has their office phone go straight to their cell, so you can always get in touch with them. I was on the phone with them on and off till 11:30 that night when Nate's fever finally broke with Tylenol and Motrin. It was a scary night, but we survived and Nate just wanted to make Father's Day as exciting as Mother's Day.
