North Carolina

Well we did it! We made it to and from North Carolina and what a road trip it was! We packed up Vito's SUV with everything 4 adults and 1 toddler could need. Thanks to the help of my friend Susan who let us borrow a huge bag to put on the roof of the truck, we had enough room. We left Wednesday night around 8ish pm and arrived in NC around 7:00 am Thursday morning. Nate was a trooper and slept most of the way. He woke up once or twice when we were at rest stops so we took him out of the car seat to stretch but went right back to sleep when we were back on the road. We did the same thing last night and arrived this morning in NJ. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Nate had a wonderful time with his three older girl cousins (Danielle 10, Grace 8 and Julia 5), Uncle Randy, Aunt Susan, Grammy and Poppy. It was a real family vacation!! We went to the beach, aquarium, out to dinner and did some shopping. Between Judy and me, we have enough pictures that captured the whole trip, however we have not combined all of them into an album yet. Therefore I have attached a few pictures so everyone gets the idea of how things went.

Randy and Susan thanks again for the great idea of renting the beach house so the family could be together this summer. Mom and Dad thanks for helping out with everything and making the vacation so much fun!! We hope you had an amazing anniversary. (32 years!!) And a BIG thank you to Vito (and Judy) for using his truck to drive down to NC and allowing the Sandlers to join in on the drive down. It really worked out wonderfully!
